Peach Cobbler

A deep-dish fruit dessert with a sweetened fruit filling topped with a biscuit-like dough.

Main Ingredients
 ½ cup whole milk
 ½ tsp salt
 1 ½ cups sugar
 1 cup butter
 4 tsp baking powder
 2 cups flour
 4 cups peaches
Directions

You can use canned peaches or fresh peaches.

Fresh peaches: Place in a bowl and pour sugar and mix.
Canned peaches: pour all the juice off.

Set a side and let stand. There are many variations you can use any kind of fruit with this recipe.

MEDIUM dutch oven. Melt 1 cup of butter in dutch oven low heat. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder salt sugar. You can make the flour mixture from scratch or purchase cake mix for convenience. The way you prefer to bake your dough is up to you.

Pour evenly over melted butter in Dutch oven. Coooking time is one hour use 10 coals above 10 below.

Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
